After reading Bob Robinson’s book Bicycling Guide to the Mississippi River Trail, I decided to dip my recumbent wheels in the headwaters of the Mississippi River

at Itasca State Park, Minnesota for an 18-day, self-contained trip down to St. Charles, Missouri.

To ride along the river and watch it grow and change made for an awesome trip that I will finish riding down to the Gulf of Mexico this summer.
